Katharina Hölzle is an Assistant Professor for Leadership and Organizational Models in Innovation Management at the Technische Universitaet Berlin and a guest lecturer at the School for Design Thinking, Potsdam. She holds a masters degree in Business Administration (University of Georgia, 1996) and a diploma degree of business engineering (University of Karlsruhe, 1998). After graduation, she has worked for several years in the consulting and automotive sector before returning to university. She obtained her doctoral degree from the Technische Universitaet Berlin in 2008 with her thesis: “Career Path Models for Project Managers ” This thesis has been awarded with the best thesis award in Project Management from the Germany society of Project Management. She has published papers on people and structures in innovation management in journals such as R&D Management, Creativity and Innovation Management, and Schmalenbachs Business Review. She advises companies on questions of strategic innovation and technological management..
