    Dr Susan Hill is a Lecturer in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics.  Her research focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship in large, established firms, combining perspectives from strategic management, organisation theory and entrepreneurship literatures.  In particular, she researches entrepreneurial idea generation in large firms, and the functioning of corporate venture units. She received her PhD in Strategic and International Management from London Business School.  Her prior degrees, an MBA and BA (Hons) in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, both awarded cum laude, were attained from the University of Cape Town (South Africa).  She has received a number of awards from the Academy of Management, and her publication outlets include the Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Organizational Research Methods. She has a number of years' working experience in human resources management and corporate venturing.
